Terms of Service.
The ground rules for using Stew Factory. We've kept them short and readable so you know exactly what you're agreeing to.
Agreeing to these terms
By creating an account or using Stew Factory, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. Stew Factory is operated by Raccoon Street.
What Stew Factory is
Stew Factory is an AI-powered tool for generating, editing, animating, and exporting SVG vector graphics from text prompts and images. We're always improving it, so features may change, be added, or be removed over time.
Your account
- You sign in with Google, or with an email address and password. You're responsible for keeping access to that account secure.
- You must provide accurate information and be old enough to form a binding contract - at least 13, or the minimum age in your country.
- You're responsible for everything that happens under your account.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Stew Factory for anything illegal, harmful, or infringing.
- Generate content that is hateful, violent, sexual involving minors, or otherwise prohibited.
- Break, overload, reverse-engineer, or bypass the security and rate limits of the service.
- Resell the service or pass it off as your own.
We may suspend or remove accounts that break these rules.
Your content & ownership
You keep ownership of the prompts you write and the projects you create. To run the service, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display that content back to you - for example, to save your projects and render them in the editor.
We don't claim ownership of your creations.
AI-generated content
- SVGs are generated with the help of AI, via OpenAI. Outputs can be unexpected, imperfect, or similar to results other people receive.
- You're responsible for reviewing what you generate before you use it, and for using it in line with OpenAI's usage policies as well as ours.
- We make no guarantee that any output is unique, original, or free of third-party rights - check before relying on it commercially.
Plans & payments
Stew Factory is free to use. Some features need a paid plan - what each plan includes, and what it costs, is set out on our pricing page.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
- Paid plans are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time from the billing portal. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for - you keep full access until then, and you are not charged again.
- Changing plans mid-month is prorated by Stripe, so you only pay the difference for the time remaining.
- If a payment fails, Stripe retries your card over the following days and we email you. Your plan stays active while that happens. If every attempt fails, the account returns to the Free plan.
Refunds. Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance and are not refundable, including for time you have not used. When you cancel you keep your plan until the end of the period you have already paid for, and it then stops - so you always receive the month you were charged for. Deleting your account cancels your subscription immediately and the remainder of that month is not refunded; if you only want to stop being billed, cancel instead of deleting.
If you believe you have been charged in error - a duplicate charge, or a plan that never activated - please contact us. We will look into it and put right anything that went wrong on our side.
Nothing here limits any refund or cancellation right you have under the law where you live. If those rights give you more than this section does, they apply.
Prices can change. If we change the price of a plan you are on, we will tell you by email before it takes effect, and you are free to cancel before it does.
Availability
We work hard to keep Stew Factory running, but we provide it “as is” and “as available.” We don't promise it will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated results will meet your expectations.
Disclaimers
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Stew Factory is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Raccoon Street won't be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending your access
You can stop using Stew Factory at any time. There are two different things you can do, and they are worth telling apart:
- Cancel your plan. You move back to the Free plan at the end of your billing period. Your account, projects and exports all stay exactly as they are.
- Delete your account. This permanently removes your account, your projects, anything you published, and the links you shared. It also cancels any active subscription immediately. It cannot be undone, and we cannot recover it for you afterwards.
We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or if we discontinue the service. Sections that by their nature should survive - like ownership, disclaimers, and liability - will continue to apply.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as the product grows. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do. If you keep using Stew Factory after a change, you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable where Raccoon Street operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be handled by the courts with jurisdiction there.
