Who we are

Stew Factory is an AI SVG editor: you describe what you want, and we generate clean, editable vector graphics you can refine, animate, and export. The product is built and operated by Raccoon Street.

This policy explains what we collect, why, and the control you have over it. We've tried to keep it in plain language.

02

Information we collect

We only collect what we need to run the service:

  • Account details. If you sign in with Google we receive your email address, display name, and profile picture from Google. If you sign up with an email address and password, we receive your email address and the name you choose. Either way we store a display name, a handle, and an avatar in your profile.
  • Content you create. The prompts you type, any images you upload, the SVGs and animations we generate, and the names you give your projects.
  • Technical data. Your IP address - used to enforce fair-use rate limits and protect the service - along with basic browser and device information.
  • Payment information. If you subscribe, Stripe handles the payment and stores your card details. We never see or store full card numbers. What we keep is a reference to your Stripe customer and subscription, which plan you are on, its status, and when the current period ends - enough to know what your account is entitled to.
03

How we use it

Your information is used to:

  • Generate SVGs and animations from your prompts and images.
  • Save your projects so you can return to them later.
  • Operate, secure, and improve the service.
  • Prevent abuse and enforce rate limits.
  • Contact you about your account when it's necessary.
04

AI processing

To turn your prompt into a vector, we send your prompt - and any image you upload - to our AI provider, OpenAI, which generates an image that we then trace into an SVG. Only what's needed to fulfil your request is sent.

We don't use your private prompts or projects to publicly train our own models. OpenAI processes this data under its own terms and privacy commitments.

05

Where your data lives

Your account and projects are stored with Supabase, our database and authentication provider, on secure cloud infrastructure. Access is protected by row-level security, so each account can only reach its own data, and the app is served over encrypted (HTTPS) connections.

06

Sharing your information

We don't sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers that make Stew Factory work, and only as much as each one needs to do its job:

  • OpenAI - AI generation. Receives your prompt and any image you upload.
  • Supabase - database, authentication, and storage. Holds your account and your projects.
  • Stripe - payments. Receives your email address and handles your card details when you subscribe.
  • Resend - email delivery. Receives your email address and name so we can send account and billing messages.
  • Vercel - hosting and basic analytics for the site itself.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety and integrity of the service and its users.

07

Emails we send

We only email you about your own account: confirming your address, resetting your password, welcoming you when you join, and - if you subscribe - receipts, a note when a payment fails, and a confirmation when you cancel or delete. There is no marketing list, so there is nothing to unsubscribe from.

08

Keeping your data

We keep your account and projects for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual projects whenever you like.

You can also delete your whole account from your profile page. That removes your projects, your public profile, and anything you published, and it cancels any active subscription. It happens immediately and it cannot be undone - we keep no copy to restore from. Stripe keeps its own record of payments already made, because tax and accounting rules require it.

09

Your rights

You can:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct information that's inaccurate.
  • Delete your projects, or your whole account - you can do both yourself, from the app.
  • Ask us for a copy of your data.
  • Ask us to stop processing your data.

To exercise any of these, just email us - we'll respond within a reasonable time.

10

Cookies & local storage

We use essential cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in, remember your editor preferences (like which panels are open), and keep the app working. We don't use them for third-party advertising.

11

Children

Stew Factory isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we'll remove it.

12

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. When we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Stew Factory after a change means you accept the updated policy.
