Privacy Policy.
Stew Factory turns your words into clean, editable vector graphics. Here's exactly what we collect, why, and the control you keep over it.
Who we are
Stew Factory is an AI SVG editor: you describe what you want, and we generate clean, editable vector graphics you can refine, animate, and export. The product is built and operated by Raccoon Street.
This policy explains what we collect, why, and the control you have over it. We've tried to keep it in plain language.
Information we collect
We only collect what we need to run the service:
- Account details. When you sign in with Google or GitHub, we receive your email address, display name, and profile picture from that provider, and store a username and avatar in your profile.
- Content you create. The prompts you type, any images you upload, the SVGs and animations we generate, and the names you give your projects.
- Technical data. Your IP address - used to enforce fair-use rate limits and protect the service - along with basic browser and device information.
- Payment information. If you buy a paid plan, our payment processor handles your card details. We never see or store full card numbers.
How we use it
Your information is used to:
- Generate SVGs and animations from your prompts and images.
- Save your projects so you can return to them later.
- Operate, secure, and improve the service.
- Prevent abuse and enforce rate limits.
- Contact you about your account when it's necessary.
AI processing
To turn your prompt into a vector, we send your prompt - and any image you upload - to our AI provider, OpenAI, which generates an image that we then trace into an SVG. Only what's needed to fulfil your request is sent.
We don't use your private prompts or projects to publicly train our own models. OpenAI processes this data under its own terms and privacy commitments.
Where your data lives
Your account and projects are stored with Supabase, our database and authentication provider, on secure cloud infrastructure. Access is protected by row-level security, so each account can only reach its own data, and the app is served over encrypted (HTTPS) connections.
Sharing your information
We don't sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers that make Stew Factory work - currently OpenAI (AI generation) and Supabase (database, authentication, and storage) - and only as much as they need to do their job.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety and integrity of the service and its users.
Keeping your data
We keep your account and projects for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual projects at any time, and you can ask us to delete your entire account and its data - see your rights below.
Your rights
You can:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct information that's inaccurate.
- Delete your projects, or your whole account.
- Ask us to stop processing your data.
To exercise any of these, just email us - we'll respond within a reasonable time.
Cookies & local storage
We use essential cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in, remember your editor preferences (like which panels are open), and keep the app working. We don't use them for third-party advertising.
Children
Stew Factory isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we'll remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. When we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Stew Factory after a change means you accept the updated policy.
Reach out any time.
